A multi purpose building at Bethany would be very useful. The cost would be about £25,000 for a building 9 metres by 16 metres.
Jesca our new coordinator and Mwita our site manager. They are both enjoying their new positions and Mwita is on a short military training course as he will take charge of the Bethany gun when completed. He also looks after all the maintenance jobs around Bethany. Jesca is getting to grips with all the administration work at Bethany and is assisted by Fatuma who is helping with the accounts. Recently not only have Daniel and Eliada resigned but also three others including our resident joiner. We look forward to improved efficiencies.

Bethany Children
The photo on your left was taken in August 2017. Presently we have 124 children on site with 12 older children in temporary foster care, 2 older children at 6th form College and 3 more at further education establishments. Bringing the total to 141 children in our care with another 104 children from the village at our Primary school. A total of 245 children are benefiting from Bethany.

Jesca and her fellow trustees are reorganising the work the children do at weekends and holidays. As a result they have more time to work on the Bethany land to grow crops and also more time to study. Two bundles of second-hand clothes (grade 2) have been bought to clothe our children with work clothes and best clothes for Sunday. The total cost was 360,000Tsh (approx £126) which works out at about £1 per child.School uniforms and shoes had already been purchased.
