Family History:
Thelesia has got both parents. She also has got a sister called Magreth (9yrs) and a brother called Emmanuel (2yrs). Her mother is very ill with sickle cell and so is her sister Magreth. Therefore, they both need a lot of care and going to hospital many times. Having this sick girl and the mother, most of the money this couple get out of selling some vegetable, goes into buying medicines and little food. At the moment the mother suffers a lot, Life is very difficult! No other relatives who are prepared to help this family.
It is when they went to a Pastor called Edwin Mihigo (AICT Tabora) and explained their situation. Pastor Mihigo knew about Bethany because he was a student at Nassa Theological College which is near Bethany. He investigated the family and found that they really needed help. That is where Pastor Mihigo contacted Mr. Bujiku to see if there is any possibility of helping this family at least to take one child. Due to the fact that this pastor is trustworthy, Mr. Bujiku believed the story and he told pastor Mihigo to tell the father to bring the girl at Bethany. At least having helped them with Thelesia, they are only struggling with the sickle cell cases and are really trying hard to look after the boy. Thelesia is very shy but she is copping very well at Bethany.
