Family History:

Jennifer’s date of birth is an estimate ( as are most of the children at Bethany) because nobody really knows exactly when she was born. She was abandoned under a tree in the streets of Mwanza on 29th January 2009.  A good Samaritan picked her up and took her to Nyakato police station where she was taken to the Regional social welfare office in Mwanza and some arrangements were made to take her to Forever Angels baby home that is also in Mwanza.  Jennifer was accepted in the baby home on the same day 29th January 2009 where she was looked after before she joined the Bethany Family. During her stay at Forever Angles, no body showed up to say he/she knew Jennifer or has some kind of relationship!

Jennifer has got a mild cerebral palsy but she is able to sit, stand, walk and play without any help. She can actually feed herself and is toilet trained since she lived at Forever Angles baby Home.

It is a great experience for both staffs and children at Bethany to have Jennifer as a member of our family and we very much hope that she will coupe well into the Family as everybody else.
