Family History:
Fred’s father died of HIV AIDS in 2003. Before he died, his wife took Fred and went in Kahama – Shinyanga. It is believed that she was running away from her husband because he was very ill. After some months the same year, she also died. Fred was taken back to his uncle in Nyasho village. His uncle is very poor and had his own family to look after, so he asked Yona – one of the Bethany workers, if he could explain the situation to the Bethany family. Bethany accepted to take Fred since April 2004.
