History:
China’s parents were seperated and she lived with her mother and older sister. Her father was a drunkard and so when her mother died China and her sister were taken to Kuleana. Kuleana recommended that the two sisters should move in with the Bethany Family but they first went on short visits to see how they fit in then returned to Kuleana. China enjoyed her stays at Bethany stating at the time that the food was good and so was the life. China was always a happy girl. She got on well with everyone she met and was physically fit. To date China has continued to enjoy life at Bethany by being as helpful as she can. She is always singing and helps out with the little children. She works hard at school. She was saddened in August 2001 when her sister Regina, also living at Bethany, died from an AID’s related illness
